Closest airport is Lisbon (40 km). From there you have several options to get to us: 

AIRPORT-TAXI:

We offer an airport taxi service from and to Lisbon airport. One-way rates are € 55,- for up to 3 persons and € 80,- for up to 7 persons. 
Transport of boards or bikes on request. 

Meeting point: On leaving the baggage claim area and stepping into the public arrival area, please take the left ramp. This will lead you down towards a Starbucks. The taxi driver will await you at the end of the ramp in front of the Starbucks, holding a sign saying „Star Pine Lodge“.

RENTAL CAR:

Leaving Lisbon airport, you need to get on the „2a circular“ to Sintra/ IC 19/ Eixo N-S. You follow the 2a circular/ IC 19/ A 37 direction Sintra for about 20 km till the exit to A 16, Sintra/ Mafra/ Ericeira. On the A 16 you take exit 8 to Sintra/ Colares and go straight. In the roundabout next to Sintra trainstation you take the 2nd exit and follow the road. After the road turning right, you take the 2nd exit of the next roundabout and just follow the winding road all the way to Colares for about 8 km. 

After passing a little BP gas station in Colares, you turn right and follow this road for about 1,5 km. At a big Tele Pizza sign next to a roundabout you turn left towards Praia Grande, and after about 300m take the second left („Estrada do Rodizio“). You have reached Star Pine Lodge after about 50m on the right side (nr. 145). 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

From the airport: 
From Lisbon airport you can take the Red Metro Line (Linha Vermelha) to Oriente station (3 stops). On the upstairs train level you catch the train to Sintra (44 min):

From Lisbon Center: 
If you are already staying in Lisbon before coming to Star Pine Lodge, the easiest is to take the train to Sintra (35min) from ROSSIO train station in the center of Lisbon.

You have to get off the train at Portela de Sintra (one stop before Sintra, one stop after Algueirao-Mem Martins) and cross under the tracks to the north side of the station. From there, you have the following options: 

  • Bus 1254: for the bus schedule, you can check Google Maps (from: Portela de Sintra to: Starpine Lodge). +/-2,60 €, to be paid to the driver in cash. The bus stops about 70m from Starpine Lodge. 
  • Uber or Bolt (+/- 10,- €)
